Lotus Cancer Initiative Inc. was live tonight discussing Testicular Cancer on the Big People Show.
We extend special thanks to the hosts Margaret Lawrence and Desiree Edgill for having Lotus as we conclude Testicular Cancer Awareness Month celebrated in April.
Testicular Cancer Awareness: Know It. Check It. Beat It.
Testicular cancer is one of the most treatable cancers, especially when found early—and it mainly affects young men between 15–40 years.
What should you look for?
* A painless lump or swelling in the testicle
* A feeling of heaviness in the scrotum
* Dull ache in the lower abdomen or groin
Don’t ignore these signs. Early detection saves lives.
Important Fact:
Testicular cancer does “NOT” automatically affect masculinity or sexual function. Most men go on to live normal, healthy lives—including having children.
What can you do?
* Perform monthly self-exams
* Seek medical advice early if something feels different
* Support the men in your life—encourage open conversations
At The Lotus Cancer Initiative Inc., we believe awareness is power. Let’s break the silence and protect men’s health together.
