Bringing Women’s Health Closer to the Community
Through our Lotus Pop-Up Outreach Clinics, The Lotus Cancer Initiative Inc. continues to expand access to essential women’s health services across Guyana.
In collaboration with Oxford Medical Centre and the Ministry of Health, these outreaches are designed to meet women where they are—removing barriers to screening, education, and early detection.
What we’re doing:
• Providing cervical cancer screening and education
• Promoting HPV awareness and prevention
• Offering guidance on follow-up care and referrals
• Creating safe spaces for women to ask questions and be heard
• Offering routine work up using the GOG vouchers.
These moments captured reflect more than just services—they represent hope, empowerment, and a commitment to reducing cancer disparities and chronic illness and its impact in our communities.
